Michael Hullinger has served in the railroad industry for 37 years and currently holds the rank of Inspector. Mike is the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Metra Police Department, where he has implemented and teaches Railroad Emergency Preparedness Training to first responders throughout the Metra six county operating system. Mike also is involved in Homeland Security in conducting infrastructure security audits of the Metra property. Throughout Mike’s career he has served in numerous capacities: patrol officer, evidence technician, part of their major accident investigation team and patrol sergeant. Mike is a graduate of Lewis University where holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, along with being a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) and Cook County. He is also a nationally certified Operation Lifesaver Presenter, as well as a Code of Federal Regulation 239 Instructor.
